The front door opens straight through to the water — you see the pool before you’ve set the bags down. White Aura is a new three-bedroom villa on a quiet gated lane in Anjuna, built around a double-height room where full-height glass slides away and the garden comes inside. Three king bedrooms, three ensuites, and a walled lap pool no one overlooks. It asks very little of you beyond showing up.
Ground floor
The front door opens down the hall and straight onto water. The living room runs double height, an alabaster drum chandelier hanging through both floors, and when the full-height glass slides back the room simply becomes part of the garden. Dining for six sits behind it, the kitchen beyond. One bedroom is on this level — ensuite, with its own doors onto the pool deck. Three steps from bed to water, and no stairs in between.
First floor
Two more bedrooms upstairs, each ensuite, each with a king. One faces the garden and keeps its own lounge sofa and armchairs, big enough to stay up in without coming back down. The other sits at the front behind a carved four-poster, white brick and full-height glass. Between them, a landing with a teak desk, an armchair and a balcony walled in laterite — the quietest corner in the house.
Outdoors
The pool is a lap pool in turquoise mosaic, running the length of the garden with walls and planting on every side. Nobody overlooks it. A laterite sundeck holds three loungers and an umbrella, and the lawn beside it has a table for four. After dark the garden lights it from below, and the only thing on the schedule is how long you stay in.
Anjuna has grown up without losing its edges — flea-market lanes and old Portuguese houses now sit alongside specialty coffee bars and design-led restaurants. White Aura sits apart from all of it, on a quiet gated lane near The Westin: residential, planted, and genuinely calm after dark, which is rarer this close to Anjuna than the map suggests. The beaches, the cafés and the Wednesday flea market are a short drive rather than a walk — eight to twelve minutes, and worth the scooter.
